This is a specimen cast of Pterodactylus Kochi from the National Museum of Wales collection at Cardiff.  (86.77G.10)

The specimen is a cast with a very fine photographic overlay giving the specimen a very convincing colour finish.  The original specimen is from Solnhofen.

Here is a plaster cast of the famous positive and negative specimen of Pterodactylus longirostris from the lithographic limestone at Eichstadt.

This cast is also in the National Museum of Wales collection at Cardiff.  (62.245.G477) and the specimen can also be seen in the Natural History Museum in London.
